Most testicular cancers at diagnosis are of the localized type, hardly presenting as extensive masses that spread to the scrotum. To the best of our knowledge, no case of large diffuse seminoma spreading into the retroperitoneum through the inguinal canal has previously been described.
In this regard, we report in this article the first case of testicular cancer that presents itself as a voluminous ulcerated testicular mass. The importance of our article revolves around the multidisciplinary approach used for complex testicular cancer. We are confident that our case will not only raise important questions within the medical community, but also that this unusual presentation will be of great interest to urologists, oncologists, and those from all other specialists, including internal medicine.
