The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive update on the role of imaging in the diagnosis and management of penile cancer.
Imaging plays a major role in the initial assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up of patients with penile carcinoma. MRI helps in assessing the T staging of the primary and in detecting local recurrence. PET/CT and CT are useful for detecting regional nodal and distant metastases.
