CHICAGO, IL USA (UroToday) - In this study, at a single site, 152 robotic assisted sacrocolopopexy (RASC) graft patients were identified. The mean age was 54.2 years.
Of this group, 53 had prior hysterectomy, 61 had prior prolapse surgery and 47 had prior incontinence surgery. The mean follow-up was 7.3 months and no erosions of the RASC (Restorelle® Y, Coloplast, Corp.) graft were identified. One patient did have a sling erosion. In this study, anatomically, no graft failures occurred.
Researchers reported the product provided excellent anatomic and functional outcomes with minimal risk for erosion.
