Update on the sexual impact of treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia - Abstract

There is an established link between lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and erectile dysfunction (ED).

The medical and surgical management of LUTS can affect erectile function (EF), cause ejaculatory dysfunction (EjD) or affect libido. This article will review the effects of these therapies on sexual function.
