WCE 2017: Trifecta Outcomes of Robot-assisted Partial Nephrectomy in Solitary Kidney – A VCQI Database Analysis
Trifecta outcomes (i.e., negative surgical margins, warm ischemia time equal to or less than 25 minutes, and no complications up to three months post-procedure) were achieved in 44 patients (59%). The positive surgical margins rate was 5.4%. Warm ischemia time was greater than 25 minutes in eight cases (11%). Intraoperative and/or postoperative complications occurred in 18 cases (24%). The median tumor size was 2.3 cm with an interquartile range of 1.8 to 3.7 cm. The median operative time was 180 minutes with an interquartile range of 142 to 230 minutes.
