IBCN 2019: Topography Analysis from Multispectral Imaging of the Immune Landscape in Bladder Cancer FFPE Specimens

Aarhus, Denmark (UroToday.com) Dr. Tomoko Iwata from the University of Glasgow School of Medicine presented data demonstrating the feasibility of performing multispectral imaging to allow for topography analysis of the immune landscape in bladder cancer Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) specimens.


Tissues were stained with a 7-color Opal manual kit from Akoya (Hopkinton, MA, USA). Machine learning batched analysis using the inForm software allowed for the panels to be merged aid to successful aid in the identification and calculation of densities of CXCR2+ and CD8+ cells in the tumor.
